1.1 Information Our Users Provide Us For Our Use
  • Becoming A User: You may visit our Website without creating an account, but you will not have full access to our Service. Visitors who wish to use the Service must create an account, thus becoming a User. To create an account or sign into ScaleGrid, Users must either provide ScaleGrid with personal contact information, such as name and email address (please see Section 5, “Gathering And Protecting The Information We Collect“, for details about this form of authentication).
  • Information Provided By Users: Either form of account creation may create ‘User Personal Information,’ which is any information about a User, provided by that User, which could, alone or together with other information, personally identify him or her. User Personal Information may include information you provide us directly, such as your email address, or information we collect through your use of our Service, such as your preferences, your search terms, IP address, and geographical location as determined from your IP address. User Personal Information may include, without limitation, your name, your email address, your billing address, your credit card or banking information and other personal information you wish to provide. We endeavor to only collect the minimum amount of personal information reasonably necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us, including to provide our Service to you. User Personal Information does not include aggregated, non-personally identifying information, which we may use without restriction. You may refuse to supply personally-identifying information and visit the Website, however, that refusal may prevent you from using ScaleGrid’s Service.
1.2 Information We Collect Automatically
  • Through Cookies, Logs, And Other Automated Methods: Like most website operators, ScaleGrid collects information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available through the use of commonly-used information-gathering tools such as cookies (please see Section 4, “Our Use Of Cookies“, for details). This information includes the visitor’s browser type, language preference, referring site, physical location, additional websites requested and the date and time of each Visitor request. 1.3 Information We Process On Behalf Of Our Users

ScaleGrid offers a database management service on behalf of our Users which allows them to use their own data with our Service (“Customer Data”). We do not determine what data our Users process through our Service and we do not control how those Users process that data. If our Users input or upload to the ScaleGrid platform their Customer Data that includes personal information, we will act as a data processor and only process such information on our User’s behalf and in accordance with their instructions. We will use such Customer Data to: provide and deliver the Service to the User, prevent or address any service or technical issues, respond to a User’s request, instructions or support request, or for any other purpose provided for in our agreement with the User, or in accordance with or as may be required by law. In such cases, it is the User (or, as the case may be, other third parties working with the User) who remains responsible for the handling of the personal information and with compliance with any applicable data privacy laws. If you have questions or concerns about how such personal information is handled, you should contact the relevant entity that is using the Service, and refer to their separate privacy policies.

1.4 No Information About Children
ScaleGrid does not knowingly collect information from, or direct any of our content specifically to, children or teenagers under the age of 18. If you are under 18, you may not create an account and you may not send us any personal information without parental consent. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a User of our Service is under the age of 18, we will promptly delete any personal information in that User’s account. While ScaleGrid has not implemented a DNT method and does not respond to your browser’s DNT setting or other similar mechanisms, we do not track your online activity on other web services and we do not permit third-party services to track your activity on our site. If a universal DNT standard is adopted, we may revisit this policy.
  • General Information About Users: ScaleGrid may disclose aggregated, non-personally identifying information, without restriction, including about how our Users, collectively, use our Service, so that we may share general information about our Service, such as stats about the average cost of legal services.
